Senior Police Officers Visit Educational Institutions to instill Sense of Security among the students
SAS Nagar, April 24:
Senior Superintendent of police, Mohali, Deepak Pareek while assuring all students studying in various institutions in SAS Nagar district, said that their security is the paramount priority of Mohali Police.
Divulging the details, the SSP further said that the students and management in every college/university falling in the district, have been contacted and assured of their safety. PCR vehicles have been deployed in and around the campus where students from other states are staying in hostels. The areas having private PG and hostels are also being dominated by police patrolling. Police officers have personally visited and met distressed students. Besides, Common WhatsApp groups have also been formed so that students can report any incident in addition to the 112 helpline, which is operational 24×7. He reaffirmed that nobody will be allowed to take the law in their hands.
